ATCOM Series, #1
…A game of survival tests their will and their love.
A mission she can’t forget…
The first female operative for the counterterrorism unit known as ATCOM, Atalanta Devayne is haunted by a former mission gone wrong. That mission led to her imprisonment, torture, and ultimate retirement, along with her loss of faith in the man she’d trusted with her life.
Brings his vengeance…
Former Navy SEAL, Noah Kincaid, bears the responsibility of Attie’s imprisonment and blames himself for not protecting her from drug lord Carlos Santiago. This time he won’t fail her.
In a deadly game of survival.
Santiago has resurfaced and set up an elaborate plan to exact his revenge on Attie by taking her brother hostage. The only way to save him is by revisiting the darkness of her past and relying on a man she can’t trust. In a battle of life or death, Noah and Attie are put to the test. They must face challenges to overcome the past and accept their feelings for each other before the danger that tore them apart separates them forever.

The weight of her lover’s body pressed Attie into the mattress with a familiarity that both comforted and aroused her. His hands were buried in her hair, his mouth tracing a fiery path down the column of her throat. She turned her head to the side to allow him access to her earlobe and shivered when the tip of his tongue traced the moon-shaped scar behind her ear. No longer cold, she was on fire, threatening to spontaneously combust if he didn’t relieve this tension soon.
She curled her fingers around his bicep marveling at its thickness, her mind coming up with all sorts of ways she could put that muscle to use. Her hips arched and she felt his arousal press intimately back. How long had it been since she’d felt like this? Had she ever felt like this? Not in real life, only in her dreams. She couldn’t see his face, simply knew him, and wanted him.
Her hand smoothed its way over taut flesh, muscle and bone. He was smooth and hard, muscular and lean, his strength subtle yet overwhelming at the same time. He knew how to touch her to elicit the strongest response, knew where to caress to drive her to the brink, only to ease off and deny her what she so dearly wanted. He teased, he caressed, and he loved like no other until she spun into an alternate universe from her need for him.
“Please,” she pleaded to her phantom lover, her hands frantically exploring all of him. He was a fine specimen of a man, one she was proud to call her lover, for he was a master of seduction.
“Open your eyes, Attie. We have company.”
How to Create a Great Work Area for Inspiration
Hi EclipseReviews and all you fabulous readers out there *waves* Thank you so much for having me today! My romantic suspense, The Maze, released this month so I’m very excited to be here! Thank you so much for sharing it with me!!
This is my office. Clean, right? LOL. Well, I didn’t clean it just for this blog post; it actually always looks like this. I can’t work in clutter and since my office is in my bedroom, I’m the only one who uses it. Which means I get to decorate it and fill it with all my writer stuff. To me, that is one of the fun parts of writing: finding a space and making it yours so you can create those masterpieces!
The pic isn’t very close up, but you can see I have a ‘Dwell in Possibilities’ by Emily Dickinson sticker on the wall-I picked this up at the Dollar Store for a buck! And the ‘create’ sign I picked up at JoAnne Fabrics for next to nothing. The pen holders I got from Barnes & Noble, my mom gave me the pads of colorful paper, my sister bought me the pretty planner. I have my Golden Heart for being a finalist in the RWA Golden Heart contest. On the wall to the left are two framed poems my dad wrote me and on the other wall my Golden Heart finalist certificate, dry erase monthly planner which I put my blogs on (I have 2 blogs, one on my website where I do character and guest interview, and Romance Recipes; a blog where readers can meet a new author, try a new recipe and pick up a new book). The dry erase board is perfect for my monthly blogs because it helps me keep them straight and I can erase them when I’ve finished promoting them that day. I also have my favorite writing books-Debra Dixon’s Goal, Motivation, Conflict and Dwight Swain’s Techniques of the Selling Writer.
These are all things that are important to me and my writing. Inspiration. And that is the most important thing about your writing space, I think. Make it yours. Personalize it with everything that is important to you. Things that inspire you.
I would love to see pics of your writing space so feel free to post them in the comments!
For everyone who signs up for my NEWSLETTER you will receive an e-book copy of my short story, Taking Chances ($.99 value) for FREE!
Thank you for having me today, EclipseReviews!! I just want to send out a big THANK YOU to all my readers out there! Without you I wouldn’t be here. My wish is to one day meet each and every one of you so I can personally thank you for your generosity and support!
All my best,
NY Times & USA Today bestselling author, Jennifer Lowery grew up reading romance novels in the back of her math book and on the bus to school, and never wanted to be anything but a writer. Her summers were spent sitting at the kitchen table with her sisters spinning tales of romance and intrigue and always with a tall glass of ice tea at their side.
Today, Jennifer is living that dream and she couldn’t be happier to share her passion with her readers. She loves everything there is about romance. Her stories feature alpha heroes who meet their match with strong, independent heroines. She believes that happily ever after is only the beginning of her stories. And the road to that happy ending is paved with action, adventure, and romance. As her characters find out when they face danger, overcome fears, and are forced to look deep within themselves to discover love.
Jennifer lives in Michigan with her husband and two children. When she isn’t writing she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
