EXCERPT (Exclusive excerpt, not posted before)

From story two, Handy Hubby Hire 18+ rated excerpt

Sara got through the front door before she lost her composure. Smiles wreathed her face. She grasped the business card and looked at the words embossed there. She read it aloud focusing on the name. Griffen Fox, and what a fox he is. He is…gorgeous. What will happen tomorrow? I know what I’d like to happen. Will that be it, he’ll rock up, do the jobs and disappear as if we didn’t have sex, as if we didn’t gaze at each other and want more, want to fuck each other’s brains out all night? She sighed. She sat at her desk and relived his kisses. Her nipples hardened. She pictured his huge, hard cock. Her pussy clenched and drenched her fresh panties. She licked her lips. I wish I was with him now. I want his lips on mine, his hands on my ass. This is probably not good for me. I’ll crave sex again now. Damn it. Sara remembered the months after Jem left. She missed him, their conversations, their walks, but she missed sex more. She missed the hard shape of a man’s body, the taste of his cum. She missed it badly and she’d craved it until she despaired. There’d been no one else. She didn’t meet men in everyday life. She went to make more coffee. I’m addicted to this stuff. That night Sara tossed and turned. She considered masturbating because she needed release, but she knew she longed for a man’s fingers, a man’s mouth on her breasts, preferably Griffen’s. Her own fingers wouldn’t do, not after sex with Griffen. Sometime just before dawn she fell asleep. She sat bolt upright as the sun streamed in through her bedroom window. The angle of the rays told her it was quite late. She leapt out of bed and checked the time on her cell phone. Half an hour to shower before Griffen Fox arrived. Her heart started beating faster as she daydreamed about his kiss and his mouth on her skin. She raced to shower and dress. Her hands shook as she made a cup of coffee. She went to look out of her front windows and watch for his arrival. “Calm the fuck down,” she told herself aloud, but when his truck pulled into her driveway her heart thumped.

excerpt

My spine itched, but no matter how many times I checked my back trail, it stayed empty.

We were only a couple of streets away from The Dragon, but here urban renewal was slow to encroach. Inky eyes of dark storefronts watched my game of cat and mouse, their entryways offered minor concealment. Sprinkled in-between these were the occasional boarded up abandoned shops. Trailing someone on a quiet city street is far from easy. Headlights from passing traffic played havoc on both my eyesight and ability to hide. Watching my steps, I tried not to invade some poor soul’s cardboard home even as bass-pounding, tricked-out cars drew attention at the most inopportune moments.

By the time Ramirez ducked under a flimsy excuse for a fence, sweat coated my spine. Even after nine at night the temperatures were still hovering in the nineties. I picked up my pace and crossed the street as he disappeared into the weed-choked lot. Standing on the cracked sidewalk, I took in the tall, looming shadow hovering in the narrow space between buildings.

Streetlights failed to hold the darkness back, but I could still make out the boards haphazardly covering what had once been windows. Large signs proclaiming the penalty for trespassing ringed the lower half of the two-story structure. Someone even added a few lines of spiked wire and metal rods. As if that would deter anyone from entering. Didn’t prove much of a hindrance to me or to Ramirez, who had disappeared somewhere inside.

My soft curse as one of those barbs scratched along my shoulder had Kayden coming across the line. “Where are you?”

“Between First and Central on Monroe. Ramirez just disappeared inside an abandoned building.” I worked my way around the side accompanied by the clicks and hums of an overly loud chorus of insects.

“Hobbes just paid his check, I’ll meet up with you.”

“No,” I said, spotting a gaping hole in the far back corner. “Delacourt’s orders were to stay on him, so stay. I’m fine.”

“And if that changes?”

“It changes,” I shot back.

“Shaw,” Wolf broke in. “I’m twenty minutes out.”

“Fine,” Kayden growled. “Cyn, you keep your ass in one piece until I get there.”

“Don’t forget my camera,” I reminded him. His grumbled curse made me grin. Standing outside the ragged opening, I wished for a flashlight. Instead I pulled my Sig free and with a sigh, warned the team, “Going quiet.”

It took some serious contortions to make it around the rough edges of the opening. Once inside, the heat was stifling and sweat popped out on my forehead. With both hands on the Sig, I used my shoulder to wipe it away before it stung my eyes. I held still, waiting for my vision to adjust to the shrouded interior.

I’d come in from the back of the building. Some diffused light made it in-between the gaps of boards and a series of holes peppering the back wall. Unidentifiable piles were scattered across the floor. Walls divided the space into a maze where anything or anyone could hide. Underfoot, a thin layer of grit layered the concrete floors, making it hard to keep my steps silent. From the ceiling, large panels hung like drunken Legos just waiting to fall on the unwary.

Sound reached my ears. I held my breath, straining to listen. The indistinct murmur resolved into voices. Did Ramirez have company or was he talking to someone on the phone? Dust trickled from the ceiling as someone walked across the second story floor. Stairs, somewhere there had to be stairs. Doing a slow scan of my surroundings, I found them crouched in the far corner.

Keeping my back to the wall, I drifted forward. Shifting shadows added a creepy vibe to the gaping doorways and piles dotting the open floor. The tang of smoke found its way up my nose. Using an outstretched hand, I brushed my fingers along the rough surface of the wall. Bringing it back, I could make out the smudge of black now staining my fingers. Great. I got to creep around in burned-out building.

Staying close to the wall, I lowered my gun and kept my finger on the side of the trigger. Trying to hold my gun upright for too long would result in muscle fatigue. More dust rained down as whoever was upstairs walked across the floor. Maybe Ramirez was pacing? Or were there two people up there?

Time to brave the unknown. Was there any other way to the second floor? One that wouldn’t dump me in front of Ramirez and his possible company? It took time and a nerve-wracking patience to work my way through the lower level, but it paid off in a small second, narrow flight of stairs near the front of the building.

Sending a quick prayer that they would hold my weight, I began to creep upward. A handful of steps from the top, a board underfoot gave a loud protest. Dropping into a crouch, I kept my gun aimed at the dark opening and tried to calm my pulse. The murmur of voices stopped. A tense, waiting quiet crept in.

Annie Nicholas

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Date of Publication: August 11, 2014

Word Count: 50,000 word

Cover Artist: Kanax

Book Description:

Pia Blyton, a succubus, isn’t ready for an official engagement since her skillset consists of setting kitchens on fire, singing at vampire hellholes, and most embarrassingly, she recently passed out in bed while feeding Valerio Hunan, the most eligible incubus in Lake City. Yet somehow he turns a blind eye to all her faults and still wants to set his marriage tattoos on her wrists.

The compulsion to have sex forces their people to have unconventional relationships. Every three days, she has to orgasm creating energy to survive. She can’t even live off bad sex. Unlike her, Val can’t feed off just anyone. He consumes the energy only a succubus creates and his hunger isn’t on a clock. Most incubi feed legally by luring multiple succubi into marriage with money and power. Val had caught Pia by the heart strings. Sneaky bastard.

When his food supply suddenly stops, he’s faced with starvation. Despite Pia’s adoration, she’s not an all you can eat buffet. He would suck her dry of all her life force within days. In order to save her, Val forces her to leave. With nowhere to go, Pia ends up at the last place she wants to be—her parent’s home, with nothing but her pink suitcase and a list of all her failures.

Pia needs to pull on her big girl panties and figure out why Val’s energy supplies have stopped arriving before he kills some unsuspecting succubus. But the demon inside Val is closer to the surface than either of them realize. When Pia leaves, the only thing on its mind is tracking her down and dragging her back into its bed where she belongs...even if it kills her.

excerpt

John snatched my offending finger and kissed the tip. “You were worried?” A shy smile tugged at his lips. No fair.

I yanked my hand out of his grasp. “Of course I was. It’s not like I have suitors waiting in line.” My excuse for worrying sounded thin but I didn’t want to give John the wrong impression. Caring about my suitors was dangerous and falling in love against the rules. Emotional detachment had to be maintained to protect my fragile heart and to ensure my relationship with Val would work. For an incubus, he was oddly very possessive.

“You could have anyone you wanted. You just don’t—”

“Want to.” I finished the old argument between us.

“So.” He stared at his shoes. “You met my brother.”

“Yeah, I did. He wants to suck my soul out of my body like a juice box.” I set my hands on my hips and gazed out at my parent’s wooded property. Val was wandering out there under the bare branches. Somewhere.

“Sounds like Amel.” He twisted and followed my gaze. “Did he come looking for me here?”

“No, I used the locket you gave me last Winter Solstice.” I scowled and leaned closer so he couldn’t escape my glare. “You didn’t tell me that wasn’t your name.” When pressed the locket would say something and it turned out to be his brother’s name.

His shy smile became a grin. “I didn’t say it was either.” The dumbass’ smile faded. “Wait. You tried to summon me using that name?”

“Yeah.”

“Oh…”

“Yeah.” Instead of my sweet John appearing in the pentagram, his pissed off big bro showed up and let’s just say he wasn’t happy about it.

“The city is still intact. Did your father defeat him?”

My eyebrows shot up. Dad? Beat a Mazzikim demon? “No.” John feared my father like no one else. That he stood on our doorstep showed how much he wanted my forgiveness. But Dad wasn’t a warrior. Zur-Sin, my vampire suitor and co-ruler of Lake City, however was not only a warrior he also practiced black magic.

“How exactly are you still alive?” His whispered question took me by surprise.

“Sin blood bound him.”

The blood drained from John’s face.

Reflexively, I reached out and steadied him. “John, where have you been?”

“Yes, John, where have you been?” Val strolled around the corner of the house, hands in pockets, and looking quite warm in just a suit. Incubus powers?

I jumped at his voice, an undeserved wave of guilt crashing over me as I released my hold of John’s elbow. Our people didn’t practice love. They saw the emotion as a weakness and I could see their point. Falling in love with a human had almost killed me a few years ago. Sex equaled food for my people and fidelity couldn’t be part of the equation.

My parents managed to have a beautiful four-way loving relationship. Well, until now, with a fourth wife on the horizon. After being raised in such an environment why wouldn’t I crave to have the same? I smiled at Val and held out my hand.

He was willing to give me everything, even his heart, but unlike me he’d been raised in a cold, sterile traditional succubus household. He wanted to love me, he just didn’t know how.

When our hands touched, I half expected to see sparks of desire dance between our fingers. I met his pale blue stare and my stomach fluttered. Would he ever stop affecting me this way? “John, this is Val, my fiancé.” Valerio Hunan had recently moved to Lake City. After a whirlwind courtship over a few days, I agreed to an engagement. My stomach rolled as I recalled why he’d dragged me here today. He wanted my mothers to force me to pick a date so we could publically announce our families uniting.

We had only been living together for a few weeks. In a hotel room no less. His wives hated me. What was the rush?

“Fiancé? I thought you didn’t want to ever get married, Pia.” John’s gaze traveled from Val to me and back again.

“I’m beginning to believe the same thing.” Val murmured under his breath.

I could kick John where the sun didn’t shine. “Shut up. A lot’s changed since you left me high and dry on my day three. So why don’t you answer my question before I ask Val to drag your scrawny ass to your big brother.”

authorinterview

When did you first consider yourself a “writer”?

I think it was after my third book, The Alpha, was published and it hit an Amazon Best Seller’s list. My husband asked if this writing thing was ever going away and I could only shake my head no. No dear, I’m addicted now.

How long did it take to get your first book published?

I am one of the lucky people that struck gold with her first book. It was contracted within three months of finishing.

Do you do another job except for writing and can you tell us more about it?

I work as recovery room nurse. I’ve been a nurse for over twenty years. I can’t imagine quitting that either.

What is the name of your latest book, and if you had to summarize it in less than 20 words what would you say?

Sinful Cravings is my newest release. It’s the emotional journey of Pia, a succubus struggling with issues of being in love yet needing multiple partners to feed from sexually.

Who is your publisher? Or do you self-publish?

I have my fingers in ALL the baskets. I’m published with Samhain Publishing, Carina Press, and Kensington Publishing. I also self-publish as well.

How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to finishing writing it?

It depends on the length of the story. I can usually write 40, 000 words per month, sometimes more.

What can we expect from you in the future?  ie More books of the same genre? Books of a different genre?

I’m staying in the same genre. It’s what I love. On Nov. 4th, Scent of Valor, book 2 of the Eorthe Chronicles, will be released. I’ll be returning to Angler series next year and I’m presently working on a new series.

What genre would you place your books into?

Paranormal Romance.

What made you decide to write that genre of book?

It’s what I read. I might stray to a contemporary or a sci-fi book but I always return to PNR.

How long have you been writing?, and who or what inspired you to write?

I’ve been writing since 2008. I started writing because I’d been sick and house bound for about six months. To keep my sanity, I picked up one of my kids notebooks and wrote my first book, Bait.

Do you have a certain routine you have for writing? ie You listen to music, sit in a certain chair?

Nothing physical but I’m a plotter. I need to know where my book is going before I can make words so I spend a lot of time plotting the major points of the book.

Do you read all the reviews of your book/books?

Yes, I do. *hangs head* I really shouldn’t. Sometimes it’s soul crushing.

Do you choose a title first, or write the book then choose the title?

I do both! Whatever comes first happens. LOL

How do you come up with characters names and place names in your books?

I make them up as I go usually. Some books are set in real cities and I discovered that’s very time consuming. LOL

Do you decide on character traits (ie shy, quiet, tomboy girl) before writing the whole book or as you go along?

I really know my character before I start writing. Like plotting, I need to KNOW them before I can write them. I spend a lot of time with them in my head space before starting the book.

Which format of book do you prefer, eBook, hardback, or paperback?

I prefer ebook. Recently, I read a paperback and I kept glancing at the corner of the page to check the time. :/

Do you think books transfer to movies well? Which is you favorite/worst book to movie transfer?

I think most books do not transfer well to movies but I do think they did an excellent job with LOTR.

Your favorite food is?

Cake

Your favorite singer/group is?

Queen

Your favorite color is?

Blue

Your favorite Author is?

I can’t pick one. I think it’s against the law or something. At present, Nalini Singh, Kevin Hearne, and Jim Butcher are on my auto-buy list.

"A startling unique spin on Peter Pan with mystery and romance, and staying true to yourself." - # 1 NY Times Bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout

Sixteen-year-old Wendy Wyman is bereft over the death of her best friend, Peter Preiss, whose body has been found at the bottom of the town lake. She blames herself because she allowed him to go back to his family’s lakeside boathouse late at night where they had just made love for the first time. She wonders what she could have done differently to stop Pete from being killed, and thinks back to the beginning of the school year when her whole life changed forever.

Wendy will stop at nothing until she finds out the person responsible for killing Peter, who was bullied by most of the students in their junior class. She is in for even more of a shock when she finds out that not only did Pete keep dark secrets from her, but a few of her close friends are hiding ones as well. This also includes Dylan Mayone, the new popular boy at school, who wants her for his own, and may have had a hand in Pete’s death.

Excerpt:

“Move your ass, Wonder Woman,” Pete shouted, flying by me on his cherry-red bicycle.

“You’re a dead man, Preiss,” I yelled, wiping the sweat off my forehead as I huffed up one of the biggest hills in Brookview Park. Just another hot and sticky Monday—Labor Day to be exact—as we enjoyed the last few days of freedom before we began our junior year of high school. We’d biked at Brookview forever and did every free chance available. Soon, we’d only be able to bike together on the weekends because of school and Pete’s part-time job.

He shot down the hill with his arms spread open like he was on a roller coaster. It frightened me. I didn’t want him breaking his leg like he did when he was twelve.

“Be careful, Mr. Daredevil.” I took my time coming down. There was no way my leg would be bound in a cast during my first semester of junior year, with me limping down the hallways open for anyone to tease or try trip me.

He spun his bike and kicked his legs in the air. He could be such a show-off sometimes. He bowed, walking my bike over instead of riding it, and I rolled my eyes. He would be crushed if he knew my true feelings.

Biking wasn’t really my thing. My idea of fun was reading magazines and watching television.

Such a teeny, itsy, bitsy lie.

I hit him hard on the shoulder. “You’re going to get yourself killed.”

“Hey, that hurt.” He winced, rubbing his arm.

“Suck it up, Pee Pee.”

“You know how much I hate that nickname.”

I moved my sweat-drenched hair away from my forehead. I could feel a zit forming, rising under the skin. Great. Knowing my luck, I’d have a huge tumor right smack in the middle of my forehead for the first day of school.

“You call me Wonder Woman. I call you Pee Pee. Deal with it,” I teased.

He took off his sunglasses and wiped them off with the bottom of his damp white T-shirt. He sweated more than any person I knew.

“Wendy, I can’t help it that your first and last name begins with the letter W. Think of Wonder Woman as a compliment. My nickname, on the other hand, is humiliating.”

He frowned, turning away from me. It was bad enough the jerks at our school made fun of him. Among the more derogatory names used were “Pity Pete” or “Patchy” because of the bad case of acne he suffered from. Most times he looked like he had a constant case of sunburn. His face was a curse. I could hear the sing-song phrase in my head, “It’s such a pity Petey Pee-Pee is a monkey”.

At least they’d stopped calling him Jew Boy.

“Sorry,” I grumbled. He’d been calling me Wonder Woman for as long as I could remember.

“It sure is hot out here.” He lifted his shirt, wiping his face with it. I was about to tell him how gross that was, but then I noticed his stomach. Wow. His abs weren't all that bad.

“You’ve been working out?” I patted his stomach, hiding a grimace as his sweat moistened my palm. Before I could wipe it away, he grabbed my arm and twisted me around until he held me in a head lock. We grappled like that until I almost slipped out of his grip, but he was just too strong.

“Do you surrender?”

“Never!” I decided to do something very low. I tickled him.

He released me, and I raised my arms in victory. Leaning against his bike, he rolled his eyes.

“Seriously, you have some major guns there.” I stretched my arms above my head.

“And your boobs are so big, now they can crush soda cans. What are you now, a triple D cup?”

Only he could get away with saying something like that.

“Yeah, thanks for noticing. No push up bra needed here.” I pushed my chest out for emphasis.

Suddenly, a silver convertible drove by with two guys.

“Hey, Patchy, where’s your bananas?” the driver shouted and roared down the street with his radio blasting some air-splitting rock song.

I clenched my fists, wishing they would crash into a tree. “Pete—”

He fiddled with the handle bars of his bike. “I’m pretty wiped out. I should head home and shower before dinner.”

I glimpsed my watch, surprised by the time. “Okay.”

He strode away with his bike. I came up beside him, bumping my shoulder into his. He did the same to me.

“Ignore that jerk. He’s jealous you’re with a big boobed girl and he isn’t.”

He gave me a small smile but didn’t say anything. We walked in silence until we reached my house.

“Eleven’s okay?” he asked.

“Same time as always.”

He leaned over to give me hug but ruffled my hair instead.

“Preiss,” I yelled.

He jumped on his bike and drove straight inside his garage, chuckling all the way. I felt too winded to chase after him.

I’d get him back. I always made sure I got the last laugh.

 excerpt

She looked at him over her shoulder. His blue eyes seared her with heat. The intensity of his stare made her shiver. Lifting one hand, he laid his fingers against the blush of her cheek. Then he wrapped his arms around her from behind. He buried his nose in her hair and let his wolf rumble in satisfaction. “I’m ready to show you off at Julia’s whenever you are.”

“Let me check my face and hair. It’ll only take a minute.” She returned a few minutes later looking amazing.

Her hair was pulled back in a fashionable messy bun. A single strand was left loose to fall down the side of her face to the tip of her breast. He longed to follow that strand to its destination, scrape his teeth against her nipple and inhale her precious scent.

She was without a doubt the most beautiful creature he’d ever seen in his life. Rose placed her arms around his neck, and he relished how her warmth seeped into his body.

“I may have to change my mind, you look too good, and I’ll be forced to kill some idiot who tries to dance with you.”

She rolled her eyes at him and grabbed her purse. “Come on, Romeo, I’m ready for a boat ride and a turn around the dance floor.”

Simon held her hand as she got into the boat then jumped in and revved the motor. “I’ll go slow so I don’t mess up your gorgeous hair.” He winked.

She blew him a kiss and fluffed her hair dramatically.

Even going slow it only took twenty minutes to reach the pier serving the bar. He already heard the music and boisterous patrons. He cut the motor and helped her exit safely; boats weren’t designed for high heels.

Rose looked up and down the line of boat slips and shoreline. “Where’s her sign?”

“She doesn’t have one. We’d rather random humans didn’t wonder in. Mates are more than welcome, but the occasional human to happen upon the bar isn’t very well received.”

He led her to an open table. “I’ll get us drinks, would you like wine or a whiskey Coke?”

“A whiskey Coke sounds great.” Her eyes were bright with excitement as she checked out the crowd.

He squeezed into an open spot at the bar and waved over his cousin. “Julia! How are you, cher?”

“Oh, mon dieu! Simon, it’s so good to see you. I heard you found your mate.”

“I did.” He gestured to their table. “Rose is seated right there, stop over if you get a break.”

“Oh, elle est de toute beauté. You’re a lucky man, cuz.”

“Don’t I know it.” He grinned. “Can I get a Whiskey Coke and a beer?”

“Oui.”

He turned his back to the bar to check on Rose. Simon’s breath caught as she unconsciously moistened her lip with the tip of her pink tongue. That mouth was made for sin, with its plush lower lip. He imagined her mouth doing wicked things to a certain part of his anatomy. Blood thrummed in his veins. Simon turned to inconspicuously adjust himself, his faded jeans were suddenly way too tight. Her intoxicating scent of coffee and cinnamon rolls licked at his groin even from across the room. He wanted to rub himself all over her, saturating her with his scent whenever they were in public. His wolf wouldn’t be satisfied until they were mated.

Gazing at her across the room his blood surged, he imagined her naked on his bed, her thighs parted in invitation. He lowered his head and tasted her passion. Loving her long into the night, her excited cries entwining with his hoarse groans as they made the bed shudder and shake. He shook his head. He really needed to get control of his randy thoughts. This was date night and he would show her a good time away from his bed for once. Down boy, he snarled at his wolf. When he glanced at her again she was snickering and shaking her head at him. He must be imagining loudly.

“Here you go, no charge, and congratulations, Simon.” Julia rapped her knuckles on the bar top before she turned her attention to making another customer’s drink. She was very busy, so he left her to it. He’d barely taken his seat when the band took the stage for another set. He stood and held his hand out to Rose. “May I have this dance?”

“Why, yes, you may,” she said playing along.

Simon held her close enough to see the sparkles in her blue eyes. He loved the way her gaze lit up when she was happy. But his wolf itched to see her eyes dazed with passion as he made love to her, and then sated and sleepy afterwards. For now holding her on the dance floor would do. Rose’s intoxicating fragrance surrounded him, teasing his senses. He was in heaven.

He cupped her cheek with a large, warm palm. “I’m so happy you moved into our house, Rose. Having you in my arms makes me the luckiest man in the world.” The moment she agreed to move to his house he’d called it their home. His glowing blue eyes regarded her with a tenderness that made her breath hitch.

She tightened her arms around his neck, urging his face closer to hers. “I didn’t want to go back to Anna’s, to an empty bed anymore,” she told him. “If you really plan to have me as your mate, it only made sense.”

“Just say the word and I’m yours completely. Forever.” He smiled, then dipped his head, kissed her deeply and nuzzled her.

Exclusive MaE Interview with N. Isabelle Blanco!

Pssst: She finally talks about the Obsessions Series! Does this mean we're getting Ang and Luke soon? We're praying!

1. What can we expect with the continuation of Liv and Calum’s story?

Nyddi: Oh man. It’s totally different from book one yet it’s makes perfect sense that their story is now heading in the direction it’s heading. Calum began discovering a whole new side to himself in book one, but it was still so simple and so “Sweet” almost. In this book, things get crazier, darker, more dramatic. Liv is dealing with her relationship phobias/issues as well as her feelings for Calum. Calum is dealing with an utter lack of control because of her that he’s never dealt with before, and they’re both absolutely clueless as to how to deal with what’s happening.

2. Why the new direction?

Nyddi: I think it was always meant to be. When I wrote the first book, Calum’s personality developed on its own and he was so much more in control at first than any male I had ever written. He wasn’t an innocent, but he definitely wasn’t as wild as the men I usually write. At least, not that he was aware of. But I remember writing the scene when he first saw Livana, and his visceral reaction to her, and I felt that dominating “I’m going to pull your hair and own you” part of him awakening and I sensed his panic at that. He truly does not know how to accept this new side of him at first, especially when faced with such an independent woman such as Liv, who seems to sometimes not care whether she has him or not. As for Livana, I truly think some people might not like her at first. This book is in her POV, and we get a front row seat to her mindset. She was hurt and betrayed in the worse way and she was really, really young when it happened. When you get hurt that bad at such a young age, you erect these faulty defense mechanisms in order to protect yourself from it happening ever again. Liv now has to deal with Calum tearing down each of those defenses one by one, although she’s nowhere near ready to trust anyone again.

3. How does this book tie in to what will be book 3 of your Allure series?

Nyddi: Well, the two series are tied together anyway, and they all are leading to my Obsessions Series (Angelina and Lucas). This book ties in because many of the events are happening during book two of Allure (Allure Magnified) and there are events at the end of this book that will be occurring during the beginning of Wrecked Allure, which will be the third and last installment of the Allure series. And I will say no more on the matter! LOL I don’t want to give away too many spoilers :p

 4. Tell us about the sex scenes. Calum is slowly losing more and more control when it comes to Liv, and we’re dying to know how this translates in the bedroom ^_

~ Nyddi: Who said anything about a bedroom? *Runs to check* Yup. I don’t think there’s a single love scene in this book that takes place anywhere near a bed…although, if you count his couch, then yeah, it was “near”. Then again, his house is really big LOL Calum is exploring all these crazy new urges he has because of Livana, so trust me when I say that the new, upgraded Calum 2.0 is going to definitely rock her world. I’m barely surviving writing him!

5. What else are you working on now and what can we expect from you in the future?

Nyddi: The project I’m most immersed in, aside from CF, is Need. I’m writing that book with K.I. Lynn and OMG. I’ve already predicted that it will break me once we’re done writing it. It’s turned into one of the most emotional, fun, frustrating rollercoaster rides of my career. We’re almost at the halfway point and I have to say that I have never been prouder of something I’ve worked on before. Bringing an alpha male to life alongside K.I. Lynn is exhilarating, hormonally painful, and spiritual all at once LOL! (I really, really mean this.) I am so excited for us to get this one done so we can show it off to the world. After Need is finished I have the following books in the cue to be written and published in 2014/2015:

Wrecked Allure (Allure #3) Blood Drenched Conquest (Szolites #3) Systematic Seige: Provocative Tendencies (SSPT Episode #1) Broken Headboard, Power Panties, & Penis Charms (Broken Headboards #1) Damage Owed (Retaliations #2) Systematic Seige: Provocative Tendencies (SSPT Episode #2) The Exchange Part 2 (Project Sapphire #2) And these are only the ones I'm allowed to announce so far!

So yes. The next year or so will be the busiest year of my life. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you so much to all my fans that keep pushing me and keep me going. I could never live without your support and I go to sleep and wake up in the morning with the drive to write faster because of you <3

About the Author

nisabelleN. Isabelle Blanco was born in Queens, NY (USA). At the age of three, due to an odd fascination with studying her mother’s handwriting, she began to read and write. By the time she’d reached kindergarten, she had an extensive vocabulary and her obsession with words began to bleed into every aspect of her life. An avid reader in her teens, her fascination with Japanese anime eventually led her to the universe of fan fiction, which became her on-again, off-again hobby for the next ten years. During that time she amassed a following of fans that, by her own admission, she would never be able to live without. It was those fans who encouraged her to step beyond the fan fiction realm and try her talent in the publishing world. N. Isabelle Blanco spends her days working as an author, web programmer, marketer, and graphic designer. That is when she isn’t handling her “spawn”, as she calls her son, and brainstorming with him about his future career as a comic book illustrator.
