Review: Warrior Rogue By Nancy J Cohen

5 out of 5 Stars
Warrior Rogue by Nancy J Cohen

Jennifer Dyhr had the perfect live a successful fashion business, a wealthy lifestyle and friends. But she didn’t have a drift lord.

Mistaken as an actor Paz ends up on a film scene Jennifer was providing fashion for. Instantly she is drawn to Paz. She soon discovers Paz is not an actor and agrees to give him a lift home on their private jet. But when weird creatures magically appear on the jet and chaos erupts, Jennifer discovers an invasion of earth and that she is one of six sisters that must stop it.

Together she and Paz survive capture, torture and death. Finding more details of why and how the Trolleks plans to invade earth and reclaim their home. She finds herself falling in love with Paz, her drift lord that protects her. But from different worlds would they be able to accept each other and ensure the coming apocalypse is stopped?

Jennifer’s character starts off shaky. Used to a wealthy lifestyle she quickly have to shed her spoiled nature and start fighting back to survive. Paz was strong, determined and stubborn from start. But his love for Jennifer gives him strength to go beyond duty to protect her. Their connection is instant and sparks starts flying. Soon their passion for each other was undeniable.

The plot was interesting. Like all alien invasions it’s a race against time to stop them before earth is invaded. But this time around we find the scene of Norse mythology playing a huge role. I loved the infusing between this and the epic alien scenario. It brings some elegant splendor to the plot and you travel into their world and legends with a bang. I can’t wait for the next book to be released. Highly recommend this epic adventure filled with passion and drama.

Quote: “Yes, it’s my husband. Foolish me,” she babbled, “I dropped my curling iron onto his leg. It’s left a terrible burn mark. I hope you have something to treat it.”
